Legacy Community Health hosted their annual Holiday Schmooze at LifeHTX, co-hosted by Becca Cason Thrash & John Thrash, Greggory & Pat Burk, Monsour Taghdisi & Henry Richardson, and Steve Summers & Glen Gonzalez. The 200 festive partygoers were dazzled by beautiful holiday decorations and lights, as well as a slideshow commemorating past Schmoozes. Santa made an appearance, and guests were encouraged to try on flashy baubles from Tenenbaum Classic Jewelers and take a photo with jolly Saint Nick. Guests sipped away on holiday-inspired cocktails and noshed on tasty fare provided by Jackson Hicks and Company. At the end of the night, one lucky Schmoozer walked away with a $5,000 gift medallion provided by Tenebaum. This year’s cocktail party raised more than $150,000, and all proceeds from the event benefitted Legacy’s HIV/AIDS Programs and Services. WHAT: 2016 Spring Celebration WHO: Hosts Kari Findley & Ken Sill and Martha Turner & Glenn Bauguss WHERE: Home of Kari Findely and Ken Sill 411: Lights of Legacy members gathered at the home of Kari Findely and Ken Sill to celebrate raising more than $142,000 in 2015 – all in support of Legacy’s mission to drive healthy change in the community. Guests were treated to a special reading by a member of Legacy’s Positive Organizing Project (POP) and to structured conversations touching on Legacy’s response to the economy, politics, and current health trends. Guests included: Beth and Kirk Bruce, Bryan Hlavinka, Chree Boydstun, Katy Caldwell, Frank Campisi, Glenna Pierpont, Lauren Soliz and Chris Canonico, Tony Bravo and Richard Werner, Cyndy Garza-Roberts, Keith Dodd and John Pettiette, Karina Barbieri, Margie and Nick Bacile.
